Istanbul – Antigua and Barbuda Port Authority and NAVTEK Naval Technologies Inc. are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at the decarbonization of ports in Antigua and Barbuda. The MOU was officially executed on May 27th, 2023, marking the commencement of a collaborative partnership between the two organizations.
Recognizing the vital role of shipping in the global economy and the urgency to reduce emissions, the Parties have come together to address the pressing need for environmental sustainability, aiming to preserve public health, protect the environment and ecosystems, and combat global warming.
